We believe that the most important thing we do in any week is to worship God. Everything else we do during the week is a reflection and expression of our worship. Worship is our grateful response to the great love the God has shown to us.
In our casual-style worship service we pass along the treasures of the Christian faith and worship like The Apostle's Creed and The Lord's Prayer in a more informal atmosphere of worship and celebration. On the first Sunday of each month we celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion during our worship service. Our Praise Band leads us in more contemporary Christian music, and our pastor preaches a message that helps us apply the truth of Scripture in order that we might become more faithful followers of Jesus Christ.
During both of our traditional and casual worship services we have our Children's Program: Lakeshore Kids in the ground level of the Family Life Center. Parents sign in their children with our Children's Ministry Coordinator, Kate Glasson before going for worship and then they enjoy games, activities and a lesson each week that goes with the theme of the month. On the first Sunday of each month, the children join us for Communion.
Nursery for infants to pre-k (4yr old) is also provided during this service located in the main building . Our nursery is staffed by caring volunteers under the direction of our Nursery Care Coordinator, Karen Eversole.
